BRZESKA – currently being executed

The “Nowa Brzeska” investment is located in the Warsaw’s Old Praga district at 8 Brzeska Street. The building was designed in the location of the porter’s lodge of a former steam mill dating back to 1911, from which the historic facade wall and joinery will be restored in the service part of the building under the supervision of the City Conservator of Monuments. The project is characterized by combining the modernist building block with a facade cladding made of Elastholite, fitting into the local architecture of brick tenement houses with distinct orange accents that allow the building to stand out among the nearby development. The investment will be carried out based on a management policy that takes into account the necessary principles to obtain the BREEAM certificate.

The building was placed on a foundation slab with a single-level underground garage, where 13 charging stations for electric cars are located. A photovoltaic installation has been designed on the roof of the building to power the heat pumps. The use of a photovoltaic installation and heat pumps will allow the building to function without using an external heating network. The planned external areas will be irrigated from existing retention tanks. The building interiors were also finished interestingly, with a loft style in mind, combining black elements of doors, window portals, and shafts with white walls and fragments of brick imitation referring to the building’s facade.

The investment will have an access control system and anti-burglary doors ensuring a high level of security. Many bicycle parking spaces have been designed on the investment site.
